Inhuman update, for reals this time.
(with inks on DA)

HEY. DO YOU LIKE FAT BLUE PLUSH SNAKES? OF COURSE YOU DO. GO GIVE THIS ONE A FIVE.

a mostly uneventful week, though it's finally started to warm up here in sassachusetts. most of the snow has melted, and the birds are starting to come back in the early morning/late evening. this makes me mega happy, i like to listen to them. though unfortunately it seems the month for spoilers. no matter how often i tell folks not to blather about new pokemon or the new metal gear, some wiseass always starts yacking. it's p rude and it's ultimately made it difficult for me to really surf any of the sites i normally go to. bleh :P

but this month is also my wonderful spouse's bday month! so in light of that i've decided to bring back the donate for an extra comic page insentive thingie. 100$ gets an extra page this week. and also goes a ways towards the planned gift. which i cannot type here. because he will see it. and then it will not be a surprise, if i manage to get it.

right now this arc is looking to clock in at 32 pages. two pages more than i had originally planned for, i think i hadn't anticipated em's conversation with cin to take up as much space as it did. woopthie.

this week kyo answered questions about lava lamps, north tek cuisine, what items he was allowed to keep in the hospital, where he thinks soshika is and grapes for some reason.

coppelia aka dollmancer drew a really cute wine chuian fanart for gloucester earlier in the week which you should totally go look at.

and uh...that's it :O see y'all next week. and in the meantime, remember, if someone says no spoilers - don't be a jerk! no spoilers means no spoilers!

Inhuman update!
(and the inks are over on DA like normal)

so this week i ran into some issues with the page related to the ink. my blue microns are worn down to dry little nubs, and i intended to pick up a replacement only to discover the store was only stocking the smallest, thinnest type of micron (the .005 size) which is useless to me. so, i thought a store brand archival ink pen would work just as well.

ha. ha ha. boy was i wrong. as soon as the watercolour hit that bad boy, even after the ink had been left to set overnight, it just bleed everywhere. just BLUE IN EVERY AREA, BLURRY BLUE FOR EVERYONE. so the moral here is that there really is no substitute for microns. microns or gtfo.

completely unrelated, if you like scifi comics you should really be following the stellarmass alien compendium comic keetah is doing!

oh and i guess i should mention that next week's page will have a different setting. it's a jump ahead several hours, and so it might feel like you're 'missing' a chunk of the story. this is intentional, but because of the weekly update nature, this location change may seem confusing at first. but you won't have missed a page, and it will make sense by the end of the arc. just a warning.

for fanart this week there's some by kep, io and a new fanartist, waterfan!

as for me, i've been slowly working on the mite homeworld wallpaper. i want to get the wallpaper up first, followed by the planetary write-up, and hopefully i'll have at least one of those for you by next week.

i also drew some art for sokki. safe for work, but silly )

for those wondering about pet fostering, it did not work out. not any fault of the dog, but ren reacted very severely to his presence. more than to any other dog she's lived with/met/befriended. she hid and would not eat, drink, or groom herself. many people have said that she was 'secretly' eating, but i'm not sure how that could be possible considering her dish was untouched. we finally resorted to coaxing her to eat by feeding her in the bedroom with us and letting her drink from the bathroom sink while we bathed, but she still lost a lot of weight and was not looking well at all by the end of the week. we still don't know exactly what it was about the dog that scared her more than any other dog she's met. we probably never will. but we weren't going to jepordize her life just to have a dog.

so, for her safety, the dog moved on to another foster home. it still really hurt to say goodbye to him, he was a very sweet dog. however, according to the shelter, the fact that we were willing to be the first house he'd ever gone to and reported actively his reactions to household things, his chances of being adopted are drastically increased. i guess not a lot of people are willing to give a dog that's only ever lived in a shelter/abusive conditions into their home. but because we did, and he did very well, he's now got people already lined up to see him. so even though he could not stay here, we still helped him in a small way. they'll let us know when he gets adopted.

...and then of course for an extra kick-to-the-junk from the universe, we came home and i found my elderly rat voiya had passed away in those few hours we were gone.

ren is recovering now, though. she ate voraciously for two days and is being even more clingy than usual. i doubt we'll look at another dog anytime soon, but maybe the next time we do we'll look at an older or smaller dog in hopes it will be less intimidating for her.

them's the breaks.

(and the inks are on DA as usual!)

hey! HEY! you know what you should do RIGHT NOW? VOTE FOR INHUMAN in the march mix madness seeding round! you should also vote for other webcomics you enjoy, but if you vote for inhuman i will be *extra* pleased.

in other news, the 2012/2013 charity drive is done! in the end, you all helped raise over 8,000$ for charities all around the world. THAT IS AMAZING. give yourselves a huge congratulatory self hi-five. or a party. or something good! cause you're AWESOME!

so that means sometime soon i'll be releaseing info on the mite homeworld, plus a background of their planet. which i admit, i have been hoping to get to do. MASSIVE CRAGS AND VOLCANOS WHAT WHAT

i'm working on contacting inhuman's anonymous charitable partner who will anonymously donate a matched amount to the charity of choice. right now i'm leaning heavily towards the local animal shelter. see, we visited there this last weekend and began the process of fostering/adopting a really sweet dog named moe. and the shelter is positively amazing considering the financial state of the city it's in. what they're doing is amazing and i want to be able to give back even more than just adopting one of their pups.

there was also a bunch of fanart this week! art from tavanaka (THATS RIGHT HES BACK :DDDDDDDDD) cosumin, ravagefox and new art by Okori, the artist for trance!

anyway that's all i got. and remember! VOTE FOR INHUMAN!

(and the inks are on DA as usual... plus an animation of the comic getting coloured on tumblr)

brr january is a bit harsh so far. but we're making due! not a whole ton to report on that end. alf is 100% healed at this point, which is good, but the disability for him being out for a week only paid for 5 hours of work time which is very bad. on top of that, the pellet stove we use to save on heating oil broke (noooooooooooo) and will cost 300$ to fix. so i'll be running another donor-rewards-fundraiser thing sometime this month.

the typical rewards are a sticker or a sketch, and i haven't finished the sticker yet, but if you want to get in early on the ground floor here's the chipin :B

but before you help me i urge you to donate to the luekemia foundation. there's this nice young lady trying to raise 1000$ for the foundation, and so far she only has 310$! if she makes it to her goal, she'll shave her head. check out her fundraiser here!

oh and did i mention donating to her fundraiser for the luekemia foundation totally counts in the charity war?
it does!

and speaking of the charity war...

the myches are slightly behind the mites, but that's all about to change as soon as i do the math for a MASSIVE donation from dying dutchman. so if you really want to see one side triumph over the other, now's the time to SEND ME PROOF YOU WERE HELPING OUT! c'mon dudes! three months to go! let's do this!!

speaking of dying dutchman, let's on to fanart shall we?
this week there's art by dying dutchman, shadycreepykid and cosumin! i also have some art by relativefox but i swear to god i can not figure out where i put his file for the fanart archives. is it under another name? D: sorry relative, i WANT to update your page!

also i drew some things.
sfw unless pinup gekin fully clothed aren't )

i do believe that's all i got for y'all this week. over the next three months i may find myself busy with another side project, but i'll do my best to keep the comic updates on time and all that! catch ya on the next orbital flight out

(no inks cause it's the traditional new years filler art)

before you check out the annual new years filler, also know there is a new unintentional mishaps page waiting to crash-land on your retnas. :O

there's also fanart by ocelynx, cosumin, copperdust and zarla. plus, a nikitak costume tail by pickledlemur!

the charity drive is still poking along! much slower than previous years so far, but 5k is still nothing to sneeze at for readers giving to charity in rough economic times! you all rock so much.

don't forget that donating used clothing or toys for needy kids also counts. lots of things count! go see just what counts, and then tell me all the good you did this year!

2012 has been an intense year. calmer than 2011 for me personally, though! but what i really would like to do in 2013? is get back on the convention circuit. i kinda miss those. maybe i'll do some manner of thing to pull that off, who knows!

and since this is the last blog post i'll make here until 2013 (which will contain inhuman's 10th anniversary as a webcomic in march!) i suppose i should leave it with some sort of parting wisdom for the year to come. hmm. i think i have just the thing.

Inhuman update!
(and the inks are on DA, as usual)

the art this week is kind of week, due to recent events making it very difficult to focus. since there are a few inhuman readers and friends of mine who live in newtown, CT, please keep them in your thoughts and hopes. if you can spare it, as well, consider donating to the fund members of the town have set up to help recover.

any donations to this charity will count towards the inhuman charity drive as well. just make sure you forward me proof.

this week kyo answered questions about written Uni, how nude aliens carry things like wallets, coming out in hekshanian culture, anime and talking to his past self. jino also answers a question about myches.

also PS: the speedgamers mario marathon for the Make A Wish foundation is still going on. it will end monday. right now, though, a 10$ donation will enter you into the raffle for a wii u deluxe. you should completely get on that.

i don't really have very much to say this week. the page MIGHT be late next week, considering the upcoming holiday and the fact that we have planned to go to a relative's place for xmas. i'll do my best to avoid that.

but it is also worth noting that grey now has his own fanclub on deviantart. if you're a fan of the scruffy-haired scarred schizophrenic, you should probably go join! and submit art or fics or things. yes, yes you should.

later, droogs.

(and the inks are on DA as par norm)

before we go any farther, let me point out that the inhuman charity drive is doing really well so far! we've raised almost 4,000$ in the first week! be sure to get your donations in soon, and don't forget that the speedgamers mario marathon for the Make a Wish foundation is coming up on friday!

BUT. if you want a quick option RIGHT NOW, and want to help a sick cat, consider giving to the indiegogo campaign for hank. i WILL count this towards the drive, and nobody's pet should have to die so close to the holidays.

i'm not really sure what else to say this week! welcome to any new readers, i guess? please feel free to offer me any crit, i'm really just an amatuer learning as i go.

in ask kyo this week, kyo had two questions that were TOO EMOTIONALLL for him to answer, but otherwise talked about alien booze, lady humans shackin' up with aliens and moths or something.

oh hunter bahamut drew a thing this week too?

and then i drew some stoof too

yeesh what to say about this week. [personal profile] zarla started playing silent hill downpour and streaming it (because we live IN THE FUTURE) so i've been watching. i wrote some stuff up at about 20% into the game. by 40% most of my feelings remain the same, but there was a completely gratuitious enemy introduced which so far Nobody Likes At All and really the game would have been better without so downpour's major weakpoint has really been enemy design thus far. other than that it...looks like a silent hill? feels like one? obviously the team did their homework, and they're not trying to horn into anyone else's storyline (like origins or shattered memories) nor stealing monsters from anyone else (like origins and homecoming) which already puts it head and shoulders above other newer silent hills.

other things that happened this week: i seriously messed up my toe and joined weasyl (not at the same time)

but on to inhuman stuff.

this week kyo answered questions about grey's weight, statues of himself, interplanetary student exchanges, tail awareness, how he's feeling and his opinions on contura.

ravagefox drew two new pictures

and i drew some stuff too.

all safe for work stuff )

oh, and if your browser is google chrome (or chrome-esque) you might want to check this out. take a walk through our celestial neighborhood, why not!

one last thing before i head out for the week though. this month? has been pretty tough on us. so if you were considering buying something from the inhuman shop or someday dropping something in the tip jar? now is a good time. like, a really good time.

and uh. that's all i got, i guess. later, droogs.

(with the inks over on DA)

aaaaand back into the groove.
i mentioned this elsewhere, but i'm kind of messing around with a purple marker on this page trying to see if i can get it to render shadows on both characters and backgrounds a bit more...helpfully. as for the backgrounds, it didn't seem to accomplish much (perhaps i need a darker purple marker?) and on characters it worked - where i was bold enough to use it. still something i'm fiddling with.

let's see. in addition to the other site changes, i added three new comics to the links: trance, kyle & atticus and prequel. i've been reading all three for a while now, and only just got around to linking them. but check all three out. they're pretty good.

the cast page has been updated as well, and there still some things i need to work on getting functional with the new layout. if something breaks for you/is broken, please just let me know!

there's also fanart from Dying Dutchman and Delta93

but hey, who wants some the future is now! style news? YOU DO OF COURSE!

so as you (now) know, you couldn't exactly access the internet if you were in orbit in a space station. yes, life in zero g was harsh. and let's not fool ourselves, a lot of young would-be astronauts probably learned they couldn't get e-mail up there and decided "fuck it, i'll be a fireman instead." but this is a problem NO MORE!

recently, astronauts aboard the international space station successfully used a prototype interplanetary internet service (DTN) to drive a little lego robot around in germany. from space. through the internet.

the exciting thing about this is that this is a more secure method of transfering commands and information across space. see, when we send signals to say, the curiousity rover? they can get muddled, or mixed up, or take too long. DTN is an improvement upon that.

and it'd also mean that if you, say, lived on a martian colony? you could communicate with your internet pals back on earth. sure, the lag would be fierce. but you COULD DO IT. and that? is just hella cool.

oh and i guess i should just mention this. smackjeeves is doing their annual awards thing, and i dunno. if you're a fan of the comic, maybe you'd like to nominate it? inhuman's smackjeeves mirror is a few pages behind the main site, but that'd be the url you'd use to nominate if you had such a mind to. :x usually *if* inhuman gets nominated i don't find out about it until a day before the voting and so can't mobilise any votes, but maybe this time will be different?

i think that's all i've got for you! now i can finish up my coffee. delicious coffee. til next week, folks!

Inhuman update!
(and there's inks over here if you so desire)

sorry that this is a day late. it was actually finished early on sunday, but i got derailed by real life stuff and so it just sat on top of my scanner until this morning.

i suppose the first thing you will notice when you go to look at this week's comic is the enormous banner urging americans to register to vote. you can actually register online now! how cool is that, you don't even have to go out or spend a stamp! you can do it from my site (the white house developed a code that can be plugged into anywhere - blogs, sites, whatever!) or you can use the official white house registration site at gottaregister.com.

which probably leaves you with some questions about voting/registering/parties/whatever. i'll be glad to answer them if you leave a comment on this entry!

so anyway, back to the comic. i did talk at length about what i was trying to do/not do with parts of this page. it's not one of my best, i probably should have just made the first six panels larger and junked the last four all together. OH WELL. next week we'll do better, yeah?

and i guess i should take this time to say goodbye to comicrank.com :< i will miss you, comicrank. it was the only comic listing system i really liked, because it didn't request readers to click links or vote to tally numbers. it just passively collected stats and based your rank on that. since codes can be written to artificially climb ranks on voting sites, i just liked that better. i'm sad to see it go, it was a good site.

anyway in terms of fanart this week there's art by keetah, Eluvion and a newcomer named Claire! go check them all out, all three pictures are p awesome.

that's really all i got until next week. remember to register to vote if you're an american! and if you have a few spare bucks, please remember that LLK still desperately needs your help.

and as for me, i'm going to draw a bunch of zombie aliens. later!

i apologise that this is all i have for you this week, no mishaps or fairy tale. i was kind of derailed by incoming family members and preparing for their visitation. the visit went fairly well! a lot better than i expected, to be entirely honest.

i talked a little bit about ruri's binoculars here, and also went on a small rant about timing with props that was spawned by a really awful webcomic i read recently that is making chekhov roll in his grave from lack of use of their estbalished gun in scenarios a gun would be uh. useful in. prettymuch it boils down to OH MY GOD DON'T INTRODUCE PROPS YOU AREN'T GOING TO USE ESPECIALLY IF THEY'RE SOMETHING AS ATTENTION GRABBING AS A GUN!

oh, and if you can't wait for me to finish drawing the images that go with it, the rough draft of the contura planetary write-up is here!

for fanart, there's one from garuda and one from tydusis. check 'em out :v

safe for work arts, ayup )

before i vanish for another week, let me talk about two fancy science things!

first off, did you know a young lady in egypt has theorized and applied for a patent on a method of propulsion which will, if it is built, completely revolutionize space travel? it's really quite stunning! she doesn't have a lot of cash, though, and neither does her school, so it's uncertain when or how this will be developed. but i really hope it gets made soon!

i had some simpleton argue wthat her theory is "impossible" because the only earth based technology capable of producing her theorized fuel (quantum particles!) is the LHC. even if this were true and these particles were magically found nowhere else in the universe, it's assinine to say that the LHC means we will "never" bring that technology to space. the LHC is one of the first of its kind, and all technological forerunners are larger and ungainly than their later mass produced counterparts. need i point you to ENIAC?

so this girl's idea is brilliant, she is brilliant, and i hope she becomes absolutely famous and rich for her concept. good on you, kid!

the other majorly awesome sciencey thing is abotu some GMOs! you know i love GMOs. GMOs are our friends! modifying a crop to resist a drought is a REALLY GOOD WAY to avoid what we're dealing with now (a food price spike because corn crops cannot yeild in such dry conditions). to suggest that GMOs will KILL US ALL OMG WE'LL GET POISONED AND MUTATE is just as idiotic as saying jumping in a pool of toxic waste will give you mutations and superpowers. please. knock some sense into your head, GMOs are brilliant and wonderful things.

like my new friend the medusoid! bioengineered as an early step in using GMOs to develop treatments for heart disease, the medusoid looks like a tiny jellyfish. it swims like a tiny jellyfish. it probably tastes like one too! but it's been engineered from the cells of a rat heart, and that makes its DNA...a rat. SO LOOK AT OUR ADORABLE JELLYRAT! ITS THE CUTEST RAT EVER!

so while we're building jellyfish out of rats, what's going on with computers? well, i think the first true example of artificial life has been created. it's not self aware (to our knowledge) and hardly advanced, but baby steps man! you have to start with single celled artificial life before you really move into the big leagues, and that's what we've done.

neat, huh?

catch you 'round the solar system, space cadets.

anyway you may have noticed the Speedgamers Widgit on the site! this is because they're AWESOME! also they'll be doing a pokemon gaming marathon in about a week to raise money for ACT Today, but donating opened a little early. if you donate 50$ right now, you can name one of the starter pokemon :O if you donate 25, you can name a trainer. check it out, cause it's for a good cause. details are at The Speedgamers' Site.

this is why i am the biggest nerd for space

wait this isn't my personal space exploration gushing blog? drat. i should talk about the comic i guess. well, this week i went into long extensive rambles about the root structure of trees in conturian hotels as well as the gel-bubble window structure. if you too are a huge scifi nerd you might enjoy reading such things! i enjoyed writing about them, anyway.

this week, kyo answered questions about alien sleeping arrangements, his children's book writing career, his relationship with chovek, gibberish, lies, feet and of course - booze.

in terms of fanart this week, there's more from aspect as well as gloucester and the amazing sfe monster is in there too! :O

and art by me? well okay

and those who have clicked through to the site will have also noticed that yes, there's another month-end chipin going. it is an ENORMOUS help when people donate to these, it really takes a lot of stress and pressure out of our household (primarily because i'm not pacing franticly wringing my hands espousing how we're going to wind up on the street) and i really, really appriciate it. donors this time will get a STICKER or a SKETCH (their choice), but if the goal is met then EVERYONE gets to read about MORBACKS and another page of FAIRY TALE. is fair, yes?

if you were a donor who picked a sketch last month, they're over here to be picked up. click images to enlarge them :o they'll be mailed out soon (if you requested that)

also if you are not cool donating i am still open for commissions. there's a price list here (though the link goes to furaffinity so the ads might not be SFW)

but let me draw your attention to this adorable mite plush that is up for auction, by shady. look at that purplepinkblue fluffpuff. he/she has no bids! that's a travesty! someone should bid on this adorable mite. yes.

i'd also like to thank everyone who's migrated over to the ask kyo tumblr to ask kyo. this week, kyo got to answer questions about The Pushcart War, vampire aliens, bad parties, alien gender roles, zoos and - of course - booze. it's a LOT easier to the tumblr manage than that old spam-ridden guest book, and i enjoy drawing responses a lot more than typing them out. i recently added a new page to it that links a few other Inhuman spin-off character ask tumblrs - the coolest of which is White Sun Pharamceuticals. if you feel like watching a creepy chuian be creepy, i can't think of a better place to go.

(and the inks are up on DA)

greetings my fellow sasquatch. wait, you're not fellow sasquatch? FELLOW HUMANS (nice save, no one will ever suspect)

today is earth day. today i also updated the comic, but earth day is v important to me because i live on earth. earth day started largely as a result of the enviromentalism movement which started largely as a result of the US sending humans into space where we took pictures of our planet, our blue marble, floating in an inky sea of stars. the sense of scale caused a lot of people to realize we need to take care of our planet so it can take care of us. really, earth day and the push to explore space are intrinsicly linked. one spawned the other. so as much as i love staring into the stars, i also want to take care of our planet.

so today? walk somewhere instead of driving. turn off your lights early, turn down your heat, go for a walk in the woods if it's nice. plant some trees or flowers or grass or some other thing of your choosing. fill a birdfeeder, don't squash that bee/spider, and think about how great our planet is compared to some of the others not too far away. take care of earth and she'll take care of you. ignore earth, and well, we could be in for a short ride.

speaking of space and earth, there's something in the media that's bugging me lately. two people with a ton of money have finally proposed what scientists and nerds have been suggesting for years - that we begin mining asteroids for precious metals and resources. asteroids are in abundance (hell, we have two fields of them in our own solar system) and often contain things we could really use here on earth. but news agencies seem to be sort of guffawing at this, poo-pooing the possibilities. and that pisses me off. just because it SEEMS like science fiction doesn't mean it can't/shouldn't be done. would they have poo-poo'd the space program? the manhattan project? electricity? trains? planes? simply because something is the product of imagination doesn't mean it's not worth persuing. on the contrary, it means PERSUE THE HELL OUT OF THAT PROJECT. so i'm glad to hear that asteroid mining is finally becoming a seriously considered reality. now if the news would get their ignorant heads out of their asses, stop thinking with the heads of fifty years ago, and realize how great this is.

rarrr >:O

anyway. have a picture of grey.

also i'm raising money for the mortgage again. this month i figured i'd offer doners a choice between a free sketch or a free sticker? and if the goal is met, i was thinking about writing up a planetary information file on the nikitak homeworld. i haven't posted a comic about this to the site yet, but i will later on in the week (likely monday). but as before basicly i'm asking for donations of 1$, since i feel like y'know. a buck is fair, right? for the comic every month? i hope? :B

anyhoo, that's all i really got. hopefully i'll have a mint comic for you all next week, and there's also talk of site work going on next weekend. but we'll see how that pans out.

happy earth day, fellow earthlings.

Inhuman update!
(and the inks are on DA)

i think spring is finally here in massachusetts! this is good, because since i am a lizard, it's harder to draw when it's cold out. horray! t-shirts and open windows for everyone! wait? it's going to be 88 degrees today? THATS NOT SPRING, THATS SUMMER. WHATS GOING ON OH GOD wait i like it that hot why am i complaining WOOOOOOO BEACH PARTY

in other news, i finished up the sketches for people who donated in the tail end of last month. you can view all of them here! if you were a doner, please e-mail me with your mailing address so i can get your sketch sent out to you! if you don't want it mailed, just drop me a line and let me know that as well. you COULD note me your address but i'd really, really prefer email :B just send it to z@demon-sushi.com por favor.

for those who have been reading this comic through from the start, i finally broke down and wrote a large post detailing the symbolism of grey's reccuring hallucinations and delusions. it covers the shadows, the cat, the headworms, the tentacles, the trees...prettymuch everything that's shown up more than once. you can read it over on tumblr.

there's also a new page of unintentional mishaps! do enjoy :o there may be another one this week, it depends, as i'm working on a couple other comic projects for folks on commission right now.

and i suppose it's worth mentioning i've joined pottermore. it's now open to public registration, and seems mostly like a point & click flash based adventure game. i'm down with that. i already hit the end of the first book and there's not much i can do now, so until they open the second book i likely won't be using it very much. however, if you want to add me, my username is walnutecho31591. i do kinda request that you tell me who you are first? cause you get a lot of random requests from strangers on pottermore and i don't want any strangers on my friend list.

also this is a really hilarious movie if you're you know. old enough to know who ron jeremy is.

Inhuman update!
(and since it's a real page, the inks are up on da here)

sorry for the slight delay there! i'd lie and say passover/easter slowed me down, but the long and short of it was i just wanted to spend a little time that weekend with my spouse (instead of nose-to-the-page comic binging) and so dragged my feet a bit on the page. however, i'm pretty pleased with the result!

there's a bit more of a ramble about this page over on tumblr, but not at excessive length or anything. just about what i was trying to do in some of the panels artsyfartsy wise and a little thing about wind-up bugs.

what i WOULD like to draw your attention to, though, is this!

what is that you say? that, my friend, is a painting of all the generation 1 poison pokemon in watercolour. it's one of a series of All Poison Pokemon Ever that i'm drawing for the speedgamers to auction/raffle off/wear in leu of clothing for (whatever works) to raise money for charity! what charity you may ask? why, ACT today!

ACT Today is a charity organization devoted to helping kids and families of kids with autism get the care and treatment they need. and i am very down with that. so both the speedgamers and ACT today are aces by me, and i am proud to know my artwork will potentially be helping them out.

the speedgamers pokemon marathon begins this summer, and i'll post about it more as the time draws near. until then, i'm not sure HOW people are going to get chances to own that poison pokemon painting for their own. i just know THE POSSIBILITY WILL EVENTUALLY EXIST THAT YOU, YOU INDIVIDUAL RIGHT THERE READING THIS, COULD HAVE THAT PAINTING :O

if you want to see it slowly coming into being, though, you can click here.

until next time, have a picture of grey growling. the little monster.

Inhuman update!
(no inks this week, sorry)

WELL HELLO! a fine april morning we're having! for those just tuning in to this station, april fools comics are a bit of a tradition for me. in fact, it's the only holiday i'll draw filler for.

here they all are, all seven fillers.

i made with the talkin' about the comickin' on tumblr, in case you're curious.

the real big news is (as cial is reporting in this filler) water has been confirmed on enceladus (one of saturn's moons). that means there may be life there. check it out!

another spectacular april fools comic today is by mi amigo keetah, over at villain. yaranaika?

OH! and i almost forgot! shadycreepykid has created a nikitak plush and listed it up on furbuy. this is with my permission of course :O she's also planning a few other inhuman-related plushes to be listed in the near future, i'll try to keep folks updated as to when those auctions are!

there's a droid app out there called dailycomix.

dailycomix is making money off of my webcomic without my permission. and lots of other webcomics too!
you can read all about how skeezy it is over here.

what i'd REALLY like you to do, though, is the following.

send the developers an e-mail pointing out that they're using these webcomics WITHOUT permission of the creators and profiting off of them again WITHOUT our permission. you can use my comic in the 'problem' field if you want to. i have no shame letting them know the grief is coming from my readerbase.

of course that may not entice them to remove the app. so let's take it directly to google.
you can contact the google app store to complain (select 'other' and in the comment field be sure to point out that this app is in copyright violation by using/profiting off of webcomics without creator permission)

the app name is "dailycomix"
the developer name is "klaymore"
and the URLs for the app on google play are this and this

even the 'free' download has ads plastered all over it, and the money from those adds again goes to 'klaymore' and NOT we webcomic creators. UNCOOL, MAN.
help me take some action. i've already reported these apps to google, but the more reports will mean the faster it gets removed. let's make klaymore sorry they ever tried to profit off of starving artists without ASKING us first.
