SPACESHIP!!!
Inhuman update!
(and the inks are here)
pssst become a patron! get rewards!
not a whole ton going on this week, but this IS the first time i've drawn a close-up of a Jump Gate since page 5. kind of an improvement, i think hahahaha
if you've been keeping up on the patreon campaign, you'll have noticed it hit the 100$ per page marker! which is really cool, cause it means i can begin working with wolfwings (and plying him with donuts) to update the site's code and hopefully make it load faster/smoother. the next goal is at 120$ per page, where i can begin re-scanning pages to print book 2.
oh, and our budget was forgiving enough this week that we were able to see the lego movie! i really loved it. i think there's really something to be said for blending traditional styles of animation WITH newer styles. the fact that they mixed both CGI and stop-motion created a stronger, more accessable end product in my opinion. plus i mean it was just plain good in general. and 1980s astronaut Benny was my favourite, but really nobody is surprised there hahahaa
oh yeah! and i'm planning to make an appearance in the dealer's den of maltese furcon this summer with kep and skulldog and a few others. so if you're a new englander, maybe check that out!
i'll be adding a Fairy Tale page later on this week, too. til next week fellow spacedudes~
