May. 12th, 2014 12:08 pmInhuman update!
(but from now on, inks are available only to patrons!)
also: kyo answered questions and i wrote about rakwulvs!
not a whole lot to say otherwise. after lunch i'm gonna be working on fairy tale, so if it's not up today, look for it later this week which just updated! next week will be the front-cover for arc 13. will the arc be cursed? WILL I THINK OF A NAME IN TIME? it is a mystery! oh yeah, and the next species write-up will be on gekin.
as i said in my last update, inks are now only available to patreon patrons. you can back at any level to see them, from 10 cents to 10 bucks. it's entirely up to you! patreon doesn't have a minimum backer amount, and only charges you when your total backed amount meets or exceeds 1$. so consider patreon if you enjoyed the inks!
spring seems to have morphed into summer in the space of three days or so, but we've been using it here at comic central to get a lot of housework done. i think our major summer project (so far) is going to be to get the old bathroom vent/heater system actually...vented. whoever put it in didn't so much install it as they did just shove it in the ceiling. and really, you don't want humid air from the bathroom venting into the supporting structure of a house.
uuhm let's see...apart from that, i'm *trying* to get some tomatos started. the seedlings are lookin' good, or at least they were before i moved them to a box. they did not seem happy with the move, but hopefully they'll recover. i also have about 400 zuccini seedlings and no idea what to do with them. WHERE DO THESE GO??? WHAT DO I DO WITH THESE??? picture me running franticly around the yard with a box of sprouts and no idea where to plant them, because that's exactly what's happening.
in kinda unwelcome news, my dominant hand has been looking pretty arthritic. i had alf's doc check it, and he told me i'll need to make an appointment to have blood drawn and be tested for an auto immune disorder. there's no family history of rhumetoid arthritis, but i guess i could be the first. or it could be something else. ibuprofen doesn't seem to do much for it, either to stop the pain or the inflamation. but hey, maybe if the blood test turns up something it'll explain why my shoulder hurts too.
the only downside is....my incredible phobia of blood being drawn. blugh. makes me queasy just to think about it.
have a picture of ren in a sunbeam!
