Inhuman updated!
(and the patreon backers got to see the inks and proto script like usual)

and hey, psst...hit the <3 button on patreon!

i haven't got a whole lot to say about this page, except that there's just one more pitstop before the jungle. a pitstop programmed by a robot. for a cough. that a robot thinks is fun. i'm sure that'll turn out fine, right?

there's some good news on the shoulder front. i finally got to see the specialist, and he agreed something's Really Wrong. essentially instead of the shoulder blade moving up and inward as it ought to, it moves up and ...away. like, into space away from the body. there's no real surgical option because those muscles are very small and delicate, he said. but physical therapy will/should help, and so i've got an order to begin that once i drop it off at the proper location.

i also saw a physician to see if i could get some medicine for my depression. their diagnosis? Yes, Wow, Indeed, Thats Some Depression You Got Friend. always fun to answer to 'how long have you experienced symptoms of depression' with 'since highschool.' ANYWAY. i started antidepressants and though they're working it's just very....strange? like i feel the same negative thoughts welling up, but they don't have the emotional impact. it's very difficult to describe, but its like someone just defanged all of the monsters ive got real good at holding at bay over the last 20 years.

honestly i think that part of the increase in the severity of depression actually is the shoulder. not being able to move or work freely like i used to is very upsetting, and i think it was that that finally pushed depressive episodes from "this sucks but i know what to do" to "this is dangerous."

i'd like it if after my shoulder is fixed i could maybe stop the antidepressants, but we'll see. for now they're helping me keep up with work, so i'll stick with them i guess :x
