human horse
Feb. 20th, 2021 12:54 pmcomic update, here we are once more.
still tweaking the scanner settings. it's too red right now, but i'll get it right eventually.
for everyone in the south caught in the deep freeze, i'm so sorry. stay safe the best you can... this is a fucking abomination of failure by the gov to protect you.
everyone NOT in texas... please consider looking for folks' gofundmes, but also giving to some mutual aid funds. rolling stone has a good list of ones in huston, dallas, austin and san antonio. also AOC is using act blue to get support mobilized.
but... do not snear at texans' suffering. please. none of these southern states have the infastructure to combat sudden extreme weather events. none of us in any of the states do. but the states that are typically warm weather only especially... the materials, machines and knowledgebase of how to handle a sudden winter blast are just not as readily available as they are in states who are -used- to snow and ice. and the pandemic means even moving those things to where they'll do the most good is a risky, difficult and taxing situation. that's why funds like the above are important.
but avoid the red cross, if you can. they spend most of what you give them on overhead...
ANE is online this year, but i think i'm too grandpa to minecraft. jk i just know i shouldnt touch it because if you provide me infinate virtual legos i will try to build a fucking entire planet and i do Not have time for that level of distraction.
alas. hang in there you beautiful creatures.
