i've also been tinkering with some stuff. moving cast onto the "about" page, etc. given the last like ....36 hours has revealed gumroad's ceo is kind of a piece of trash and will gladly sell us all out for NFTs (which, imo, stands for "no fucking thanks") so sometime this week i'll be making the change for the downloads shop to no longer be hosted on gumroad. i'm prob going to itch.io with it, as they're very on the ball in terms of uh. how BS this whole "muscle artists out to validate crypto" thing is.

yes. he is all about the consumerism of art so this does not shock me at all. that doesn't mean i think it's good.
but lemme leave that topic here in the dirt where it belongs and switch to something more worthwhile.
ANE is on the horizon! i'm still very covid-anxious myself. after discovering some altright furries had been moving images around in my portfolio to hide anti-fash pictures, i feel like there's deffo a chance of some passive aggressive alt right dingdong trying to cough unvaxed on me. ANE does require ppl to submit vaccination information, but considering that there's still a big market for fake cards i'm still anxious. so, i really can't settle on the idea of sitting behind a 3ft deep table for hours each day all weekend talking to strangers. perhaps next year!
for this year i'll just be an attendee. i'm not staying in the hotel, so really most of my time spent with friends at the con will be time we pre-arrange. meaning... it's probably not going to be really easy to just spot me and say hi. a downer for sure, but considering i'm in the middle of a med change and we're in a pandemic it's unfortunately whats likely to be safest/best for me.
every morning lately luna has been trying to convince me to open the catio for her. i dunno how to explain to her that a giant rodent told us two more months of winter were coming.
