january is arrived

not_funhey its my birth month! on the 28th wooo
i put together my 2023 inhumanverse sketchbook into a pdf, if ppl want to look at it.
december was a very hard month for me personally. wound up going no contact with my immediate family. started speaking up about the 40 years of abuse they've given me, seeing who's going to still have my back after the dust settles. no one in the immediate family, it appears so far. they just want me to shut up and not rock the boat, total toxic positivity.
but i'm trying to focus on what's forward. i'm working on the first big update to pkmncollectors.online, and in a few weeks there'll be anthro new england to see friends and familiar faces at.
i think i've settled on my first (personal) comic project for '24, i think i have a tennative diagnosis for my lung damage (pulmonary fibrosis from radiation treatment for cancer). i'm seeing a therapist who's working with me to overcome my trust issues related to thearpy (because of family and bad actors) and working on the omni print.
a single small macchiato at 10am kept me up til 4am new years which is how u know im truly becoming ancient
currently have a sore throat, but testing neg for cov. i'm not real confident i'm really out of the woods though, since my family are all antimaskers now i guess. yeah no you read that right, the guy who had cancer and has lung damage from it has a family so fucked up and toxic and incapable of giving a fuck about him that they're antimaskers out of personal comfort. wont even wear em in stores or on public transit.
so for now... im not dying (again) (yet) (for now) 2024
