ahhh the most glorious day of spring

i mean, it -is- the first of april...
tho due to the time it takes to propagate journal entries into my site, some folks may only be seeing this when the update on sunday goes up. YES I KNOW TWO THINGS IN ONE WEEK WOW. but if youre one of those people and missed the april fools page and want a link here u go.
rn its still morning, still having coffee. yesterday was the trans day of visibility and i'll be honest... this year felt kind of. shitty. a lot of hopes & wishes and emojis, and not a lot of "and we will stop the rash of bills criminalizing trans bodies and trans children." idk. i think we're all just so burnt out from pandemic bullshit and boomers deciding stocks > human lives the last three years, its hard for anyone to muster funds. or the performative niceities trans people are expected to have to "earn" support. but it didnt feel great, and i am pretty sure at least one person tried to doxx me after it because ive been getting spam calls every half hour today...and spam texts...
just gonna pick up on the next one and shout CONGRATULATIONS YOURE THE WINNER or some shit even tho i doubt theres a human on the other end
i'd also like to take this minute to remind people i am CLOSED for commission work right now. i am NOT ACCEPTING ANY. i am not providing price quotes, i am not providing timetables of when i will be open. my focus right now is finishing the comic. sorry! but please stop asking! i just want to finish it before i die, and i feel like this is the safest way to do that! if you truly think i'm being irrational in my feelings of mortality, you shouldn't feel any trouble waiting for me to finish up inhuman - cuz if i'm being irrational, there's going to be time after that. get me?
ok, my schedule says today is my day to figure out cooking (im trying to make it a habit...) so i should hit the ol dusty trail.
