well i haven't heard anything from derpy since that last note last night saying he was on the MUD. i honestly hope at this point someone arrived to help him, be it the police or the EMTs or whoever.

this week's been thrown into one hell of a tailspin between the holidays, the errands, and the general insanity that seems to be leaping out at me from behind every glacial boulder stride past. the comic obviously hasn't been updated. i haven't even got a chance to start inking it yet. :| i'm going to try to get some new years filler up for you guys, and i sincerely apologise.

i also apologise for the site downtime. something is using too much memory on the server and it's causing the site to be throttled. i'm not sure what's doing it, because i can't check. but i have a suspicion. hopefully it'll be addressed soon.

today i swear to god, nothing is getting in my way. i'm going to set up that tank for the giant catfish. i can only hope i'm not too late for him.

edit- too late. the catfish died last night. probably during the hours i was trying to talk derpy down. great. fantastic. excuse me, i'm going to spend the rest of my day cursing violently and attempting not to punch holes in walls.

I kinda hope it was the police or EMTs who got to him. If he doesn't have anyone close to him he felt he could tell, I can't help but wonder if he's gonna get the help he really needs. Besides, the police and EMTs do have enough training to be able to determine if he's going to be okay on his own.

Jeeze, I hope things settle down for you soon. I'd be going nuts with all of that to deal with. Take your time on the comic. It's always worth the wait, and life comes first. :)

he was on the MUD earlier today and i warned that if he ever does this again it's a 911 call - none of this "talk me down" stuff. :\ i don't know him well enough for that to even remotely be fair to either party.

The loss of a catfish is a terrible waste. I've always wanted one myself but have restrained myself because I know just how long it would last with my Siamese cat around.

i honestly am bummed out. he seemed so friendly and docile, and ren didn't seem interested in bothering him :\
