hey guys. sorry about the mega late page. more on that in a minute. more importantly: i just got back from a UFO convention!
it was a lotta fun, though we didn't stick around too long. vendors and exhibits included bigfoot tracks some local made casts of (unconvincing, but neat!), ufo detector gizmos some guy was makin, local zombie-submarine themed comic artists and a buncha GHOST HUNTERS. also a support group for abductees. it all made me wanna watch x-files again, honestly |3
the skull mask was a big hit!got a lot of comments, and it won me a giant inflatable alien and a poster replica of the infamous area 51 sign. THAT really made it for me. i LOVE area 51 mythos. though i will argue obnoxiously about cold war military conspiracy being the source of it all, an unpopular alien fandom point of view haha
the only downside was wow, alien fandom MUST be a very boomer-oriented scene right now. i think other than about six or seven people including us, everyone else was at least over 40. but still. ufo convention! bigfoot casts! those are two bucket-list items ticked off right there, so i'm in a good mood.
anyway, late page. that's kinda the flipside of the above. this week? not a good week for brainmeats. spent a lot of it rattled and anxious and just generally messed up. lost a lot of sleep, and my work schedule got completely flipped around. the good news is that i have really wonderful friends and a really wonderful supportive spouse, and so i'm doing a lot better. and thus, i am able to finally finish this week's comic. :>
