we're two pages from the end of arc 16, and the end of the story minus the epilogue. if you just cannot wait, backing my ko-fi will give you access to the last two pages early. and, when the epilogue pages get completed, you'll have early access to those too.
or you can just use kofi to toss me a tip and be like 'hey wow thanks for doing a webbed comic for 20 years man' - u know, normal stuff.
started a new med yesterday. hopeful it'll make an actual difference. i haven't been getting a lot of sleep and haven't been feeling great either. but, i guess in a desperate effort to keep my brain from going into its basic idle mode of self destructing i've been trying to be active.
i'm slowly working through rescanning and retexting and resizing the entire comic for print. you can follow my progress here. as of this writing it's at 7/16 arcs ready. so still a long road.
there's a local comic con i'll be vending at this summer, and (i hope) a breast cancer 5k i'll be joining in boston in the fall. but most of my other plans for this year are still very up in the air. i've been applying to a lot of things, though, because of the whole 'stop brain from eating itself' thing.
there's also been several Shop Updates - you can now order postcard packs (of dragons), printed zines, original art pieces or... a MYSTERY ORB. i'll be adding more in the coming weeks, since i just reordered a bunch of stickers.
my insurance is still messed up, because "someone" keeps getting new bits of information wrong every time that it's changed in the system at my doctor's office. it's entirely on their end, and i've been trying to get it fixed since january. i almost missed my appointment friday because they spent so long trying to tell me i'd done something incorrectly (THEY kept putting in the wrong name for me, THEY kept putting in last year's insurance number, THEY kept trying to run it as an hmo not a ppo... but sure) and im just sick of it. probably not as sick of the ~~gentle bigotry~~ in this country as the phlebotomist i had later, who had a patient literally refuse service in front of me because of her skintone. but still pretty sick of it.
anyway. enough of being a downer and feeling my heart rate bound out of control in response.
next week's april fools if you can believe it?! i thought i had a plan but it turns out i did my math wrong (again) and need to rework entirely from scratch. that's dyscalculia for you.
