(and the inks are up on DA as usual)
i apologise again for this being late. the crowd scene was huge and took me an extra day to ink and then another extra day to colour. really, i was kind of unprepared for the amount of work it would require and hadn't budgeted my time. if i had wanted to get it up on time i would have had to start inking on *does the math* ...last tuesday. yikes.
anyway, it's up now. and you can read a little bit about contura over here as usual.
so that's it for yoshi leilo, the friendly AI. now we're on to crowd cameos. rather than overload the first crowd with faces, there's really only one (outside of tom servo and waldo...can you find them?) and that's three-blocks-one's character, Ilhuri.
oh, and inhuman was up for nomination for a webcomic award along with many other awesome comics like Skin Deep and Cheap Thrills and DMFA...but one of the competitors was that thing with the candy corn horns and guitarpick faces. so of course it's going to win instead. unfortunately scifi with a plot can't compete with fan-written fap fuel. :| this disappoints me because there's so many webcomics out there who DESERVE awards like lackadaisy but they're being beaten out simply because housefuck or whatever has the most rabid frothing fans. internets.
in less opinionated news, there's currently a proposal going through that would forgive student loan debt as long as you paid them for ten years. i think this is pretty solid and would be an enormous help. it'd be 200$ extra i have every month to devote to whatever i need, and that would make an ENORMOUS difference in my life. i'm sure most people reading this paying college loans could agree...how much extra would it be for you per month? if you're down with it, there's a petition you can sign to encourage lawmakers to take it seriously into consideration. you can also track its progress here.
me myself and i, i have to hurry and get to work on art for other people. money's very tight this month and the more time i waste typing the less art i get done for a few bucks. my apologies. but that's how it goes.
