not_funInhuman update!
this page took a long time because i was agonizing over the big panel. i didn't quite nail what i was going for, unfortunately. i meant to kind of replicate what i did on page 221 a thousand years ago, but i think without the burst of light behind the figures it just wasn't going to come out the way i envisioned.
but FINALLY all these little links in the bizzaro machine link up and TRANSMIT SOMETHING WORTH DOING. HA.
speaking of things worth doing... how you like my prediction on Hive.Social coming true in such a short timeframe and in such a DRAMATIC way! if you missed the news on that, literally anyone can edit anyone elses posts and usernames are not unique. also it's apparently run by a shadow alt-right investor so it's probably just a hub they intend to radicalize people through. much like elon's twitter!!
my mental health has been trash. but for 3 days i got my shit together enough to scrape the oldest version of my site off the wayback machine and pull something from it that i thought folks might enjoy seeing. with help from rainbow cemetery, this legacy javascript tamagotchi WIND UP BUG is BACK

peeling 20 year old code up n making it work again was surprisingly fun. too bad it didn't stop depression from sinking its hooks in good & deep. lexapro, you are the most worthless sugar pill i've ever encountered.
ah yes i also joined WEBCOMIC RING! a webring for webcomics! it's just starting out, really, but i'm extremely happy to be back in a webring. speaking of old things. i just like them okay!!
the car crashed during the blizzard and though we're okay the sub-frame bent and so now my guts are just a knotted mass of anxiety riding in it. but hey... at least we finally have health insurance again. even if i was only repaid about half of what i paid out of pocket for 3 months on prescriptions... :T
tonight's the first night of hannukah, and if you really want to give me a gift? -GET OFF TWITTER- because it's just going to speedrun turning into a neonazi hub. i wasn't wrong about hive. i wont be wrong about this. just trust me. and leave it for dead.

there's no reason to stand around a toxic waste dump letting it poison you just because you used to love the forest that was once there. it's not coming back, and you're only hurting yourself staying. and if experience is anything to go by, you'll turn into the kind of person who casually drops slurs as terms of endearment and then -flips out- when you're told that is inappropriate. i've seen it all before, man. trust me.
